Pod 1 - Original Foyer, Family Room & Cook’s Kitchen
This is a very special pod. First of all this was the main entry to the original home. The custom hand painted tile floors by Marguerite Antell are so beautiful! The newer mahogany doors by Wendell Castle are truly unique! There is even a Wendell Castle signature and date of 2003 on the bottom of the door! There is a beautiful kitchen that opens to a gas fireplace family room so you can keep the conversation going when you get home! This pod has the artistic ceilings that are the hallmark of the Mushroom House…however each one is slightly different which adds to the interest of seeing each pod!
